Successful change management incorporates leadership and planning. It involves setting expectations. This isn't just the long-term goal, but it also includes setting expectations of what is expected during the implementation.
Let people know why the change is being made. It is easier for people to get on board your train when they know where it is going.
Roles and responsibilities are explained to all team members. Feedback is encouraged, but dissension is not accepted. The change you make is aligned with with the bigger picture. Those who do not believe in the future have no role in it.
Preparing for and leading through change is often overlooked. Anticipate the response and prepare for it.
